Colorado College is in the process of hiring a biology department chair and they are eager to be in touch with candidates with the following attributes:


*       Term position: approximately 4 years; teaching and/or research opportunities negotiable; salary negotiable
*       Late career/soon to be or recently retired
*       Preference for biologist with wide appreciation for pedagogy across sub-disciplines, but other science disciplines considered
*       Previous chairing experience
*       Other academic leadership experience desirable
*       Background or appreciation for unique atmosphere at liberal arts or small academic institution, especially the role of a teacher/scholar
