Nanostructured Materials: From discrete nanoscale objects to nanoscopically-resolved bulk materials
This presentation will highlight the development of synthetic methodologies that allow for the preparation, derivatization, and manipulation of well-defined polymer materials of nanoscopic dimensions or containing nanoscale domains. Although the focus is upon synthetic organic chemistry, a significant effort is made to conduct a number of physical, mechanical, and biological studies to determine the properties and potential applications of such nanostructures.
