The Consortium consists of 10 liberal arts colleges and 2 research universities which have banded together to promote science and mathematics education for undergraduate students. Each school is represented by one or two campus representatives who are responsible for setting policy, communicating with their colleagues on their home campuses about activities sponsored by the consortium, and passing on requests or concerns from their colleagues to the Midstates administrators.
