The Midstates Speakers Series was established to facilitate the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of research findings. It also serves to connect faculty members in the consortium with one another. Consortium funds are available to pay for travel, lodging, and meals for faculty visiting other consortium campuses to give a talk (~ $600-700 per speaker). Please identify a potential speaker by visiting department websites of the MCMS institutions and examining faculty research interests. After making arrangements with your speaker, apply for funds using the “Speaker Request Form” from the pull-down menu above.
